Forensic Accounting and Auditing Stakeholders Consultative MeetingThe Forensic Accounting and Auditing Department is hosting a Stakeholders Consultative Meeting to discuss the introduction of the Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Accounting and Auditing.

According to the Chairperson of the Forensic Accounting and Auditing Department Mr D. Chisunga, the objective of this consultative session is to listen to stakeholders and get their input, views and recommendations to be incorporated into the two programmes.

The Diploma in Forensic Accounting and Auditing is targeting the development of professionals with hands on knowledge, expertise and attitudes required to handle forensic accounting and audit functions effectively in line with international best practices. The programme is set to equip students with the skills to identify and investigate fraud in private, nonprofit and public organizations. It also provides knowledge on how forensic practitioners can prevent diverse fraud schemes.

Forensic Accounting and Auditing Stakeholders Consultative MeetingThe Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Accounting and Auditing seeks to advance knowledge and practical skills in the prevention, detection and investigation of diverse fraud schemes. The programme provides a progressive, challenging and stimulating scholarship and application of forensic accounting and fraud investigation tools, models and techniques in prevention and investigation of fraud, corruption, cyber-fraud and bribery.

The stakeholders Consultative Meeting was attended by representatives from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, BANC ABC, Servco, MASC, ZRP,innov8, ZIMRA, DigiComms among others.
