    Harare Institute of Technology is a State University (Technopreneurial University)

  • How many intakes do you have?
    At the present moment we have one intake only which starts in August for the undergraduate programmes and February for the postgraduate degrees every year.

  • Do you offer on-line degree programmes?
    No! All programmes offered are full-time programmes.

  • How long does it take to complete a degree?
    • The duration for undergraduate programmes (fulltime) is four (4) years and for postgraduate programmes (fulltime) is two (2) years. 
    • The duration for postgraduate programmes (block release) is 2 to 3 years.

  • How many semesters does each academic year constitute?
    There are two semesters in each academic year

  • How do I change a programme?
    Change of programme is allowed within the first two weeks after commencement of lectures and is subject to approval by the University.
