HIT 400 Capstone Design Projects Presentations

HIT final year students from all the departments have finished their HIT 400 Capestone Design projects presentations before sitting for their final examinations.

The Capestone Design Projects are scientific and entrepreneurship ideas, premised on creativity, ingenuity and resourcefulness, speaking to the problems being faced by our local industry and commerce. These projects are aimed at offering relevant, usable and practical solutions that can transform and advance peoples’ lives and national economic development.

These are research and development projects that speak to the nation’s aspirations to modernise our agriculture, mining, manufacturing and processing industry, tourism, health, business and education sectors among others.

The presentations started from 22 June and ending on 26 June 2020. This is followed by the SWOT Week which gives the final year students an opportunity to revise their study material generally in preparation for exams. The week is usually free from classes and assessment. However, some lecturers or tutors may decide to make up for consultations and those classes missed over the usual teaching period.

The final timetable for the July 2020 part 4 Examinations Session is scheduled to run from 6 July 2020 and end on 14 July 2020. All examinations are going to be held in the Automotive Hall and Multipurpose halls.
