A workshop on Diplomacy and Etiquette was held for the HIT Senior Management on 21 July on campus.
The workshop was facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Topics covered included Protocol, Etiquette, Grooming and Deportment and Negotiations.
The workshop was both interactive and didactive in its approach and was characterized by a lively discussions and role playing.
Overall, the HIT management team was appreciative of the workshop which was both an enlightening and enriching experience.
Tact and diplomacy are fine in international relations, in politics, perhaps even in business; in science only one thing matters, and that is the facts.
