About the Libray

The HIT Library was established as a university library in 2005. The library operates as the nerve center of the Institute, an oasis of knowledge with a collection of materials ranging from printed books and journals, e-resource databases, government documents, audio visual materials like DVDs as well as newspapers.

Currently, our membership of 3000 library users have access to more than 8000 volumes of printed books and more than 2000 electronic books through Ebscohost e-book collection and eBrary and more than 30000 ebooks through open access resources such Bookboon. An annual subscription to electronic journals is maintained for Ebscohost, Emerald, Sage Publications, Springer Basic Package, Taylor & Francis and Wiley Blackwell. See e-resources

The library opens at 0900hrs and closes at 2200hrs during semester time. During vacation time, it opens at 0900hrs and closes at 1630hrs. See Opening hours
