Reporting to the Assistant Registrar – Human Resources, the Administrative Assistant
will be responsible for:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting the Assistant Registrar in coordinating the recruitment process, handling disciplinary cases and coordinating training;
- Managing staff records including creation of files for new employees and maintaining them up to date;
- Induction of new employees;
- Attending to H.R. related queries from staff members;
- Carrying out exit interviews for junior staff;
- Processing of pension and terminal benefits for exiting staff and
- Servicing University Committees.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have at least 5 O’ Level passes including English Language, a relevant first degree from a recognised university, two years relevant post qualification experience and good organizational and computer skills. A Diploma in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Training or equivalent would be an added advantage. University experience would be an added advantage.
