PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

 Engineer Allen Ditima is a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT). With a strong academic foundation, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and a Master’s degree in Machine Design. His expertise spans robotics and automation, instrumentation and control, simulation and modelling, and electrical and electronic technology, making him a key contributor to both teaching and research in advanced manufacturing systems.

As an educator, Eng Ditima is passionate about equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge in industrial automation and smart manufacturing technologies. His research focuses on optimizing machine design, control systems, and industrial processes through computational modelling and innovative engineering solutions. With a commitment to academic excellence and industry-relevant skills development, he plays an integral role in shaping the next generation of engineers at HIT
