Duties and Responsibilities
- Product design and development;
- Designing manufacturing processes;
- Assessing product usability and safety;
- Assessing products markets;
- Assessing products and equipment for reverse engineering feasibility;
- Product testing and validation;
- Report writing and presenting results to managers and customers;
- Assessing and testing usability, environmental impact and safety of a design;
- Modifying and retesting designs;
- Managing development process including tracking progress and costs;
- Research on new materials and process and
- Data analysis from tests on prototypes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Applicants should have a degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution;
- Minimum experience of 2 years in design engineering.
